Lady Dulcinea (detail) 2008.

Eloise Corr Danch is a versatile freelance artist who lives and works in New York City. She is a proud and newly minted member of the Society of Illustrators, but Eloises’ skill sets have grown, after an early focus on painting and illustration, to include paper sculpture as well as product, prop, set and graphic design.

In February, Eloise's collaborated with the Brooklyn-based fashion and accessories line Hayden Hartnett.  For the windows of the Hayden Hartnett Boutiques in Nolita and Brooklyn, Eloise created a paper sculpture installation which featured paper dresses, paper flower chandeliers, and paper flowers.

Eloise created the sets and backdrops for the 2009 Holiday and Fall 2009 print advertising campaign of leading Canadian retailer Joe Fresh. In October of 2009, Eloise has collaborated once again with New York designers Ruffian where she will be exhibiting a mid-19th century paper dress sculpture as part of the Paper Ball Gala to celebrate the opening of SLASH! Paper Under the Knife at The Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. After appearing at the Museum the Paper Doll travels to Kate's Paperie on 13th St to appear in the store windows for New York Fashion week beginning January 15th.

For the Sony artists Motion City Soundtrack, Eloise teamed up with fellow artist Molly Page, to create the Dino Head. This Mask will be used to support the band on their 2010 tour, supporting their latest Sony release "My Dinosaur Life". Eloise and Molly also created Dinosaur Robot costumes that the band wore for an AP Magazine shoot.

Eloise's intricate paper sculptures were featured in 23 windows at Macy’s New York flagship at Herald Square for the retailer’s 2009 Flower Show. The windows feature more than 2,500 handmade paper flowers comprising long, swirling garlands and 20 ornate headdresses. Subsequently Eloise appeared on the Martha Stewart television show, making intricate paper poppies with Martha.

For the 2008 Holiday season, Eloise was commissioned by Anthropologie to create a limited edition of rag dolls sewn by hand from vintage fabrics and materials. In the summer of 2008, she exhibited Lady Dulcinea, a life-size Rococo dress made entirely of paper, in the gallery at Anthropologie’s flagship New York City store in Rockefeller Center. The show received critical acclaim from TimeOut New York, RealSimple, Venus magazine and the Australian magazine Frankie. The journal Creative Quarterly awarded Eloise the Merit Medal for Lady Dulcinea and featured the work in its Spring 2009 issue.

Also in the summer of 2008, Eloise contributed graphic design work to Cory McAbee’s film Stingray Sam. She exhibited at SURTEX in Spring 2008, and is currently developing a stationary line called Sawdust & Tinsel.

Eloise’s freelance clients include Anthropologie, Macy’s, Joe Fresh,  Sony Entertainment Group, RUFFIAN, Bensimon Byrne, Morgane Le Faye,  The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Anne Koch Set Design, Kathryn Rusch Designs, The Ragdale Foundation, Charles Adler Vintage Men’s Clothier, Linda Trau Design Studio, Saks Fifth Avenue and Leah C.
